Role
The role of Store Manager within Wickes is essential – this means the potential is high, as is the opportunity for growth. We expect that you’ll already be a great leader with a proven track record of bringing your team along with you. You'll be great at managing your workload and you’ll have the safety of others (including yourself) at the forefront of your mind. You’ll be customer‑centric, making sure each and every customer has a great shopping experience with us and that you’ll come to work with a winning mindset.
Responsibilities
* Organise and work with your team to achieve the targets.
* Motivate colleagues and serve our customers, ensuring they get the right products for their needs while ensuring promotions are up to date and the correct stock is available.
About you
* Experienced store manager within a retail environment.
* Can‑do spirit is essential.
* Strong understanding of the financial side of business – previous KPI exposure and working to targets is a must.
* Adept at recruiting great team members, spotting potential and working with individuals to bring that out.
