Salary: £33,472 per annum + £1,000 welcome bonus

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full-time

Location: Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, Harwell, Oxfordshire OX11 0QX

About the Role

ISIS Neutron and Muon Source produces radiation as a by-product of its operational activities; prompt radiation from high-energy proton, neutron and muon beams, and the radiation and radioactive contamination coming from the activation of various solid materials, liquids and gases (airborne).


This is a unique opportunity for graduates interested in radiation protection in all its forms and all its applications to develop their skills and experience at the cutting edge of scientific endeavour – variety and challenge - are the keywords for this position applying your strong numerate background in physics or physical sciences.
