A reputable not for profit organisation based in Cambridge are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join on a temporary basis to provide cover within the finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s confident with day to day transactional finance and available at short notice. Within this role, you will report into the Financial Controller.
As the Accounts Assistant, you will be tasked with supporting the team with the following duties, including:
Processing purchase orders, supplier invoices and credit card transactions
Handling travel related invoices
Completing bank reconciliations
Managing shared finance inboxes and ticketing queries
General finance admin and holiday coverAs the successful applicant, you’ll bring experience in an accounts assistant or bookkeeping role, strong organisational skills, accuracy, and good communication. You’ll be confident in your system and excel skills and be able to manage your workload well. Xero experience would be considered advantageous.
