Programme Administration and Support Adviser
Part time hours across 3 days per week (this could be spread across 4 days also)
0900:17:00 with flexibility on 08:00-16:00 shifts
Fully office based
Location: York
£14.19 per hour
Brook Street is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading education client for a Programme Administration and Support Adviser to join their team.
In this key role, you'll provide professional administrative and advisory support for the delivery of academic programmes. Acting as a point of contact for students, academic staff, and external partners, you'll ensure the smooth operation of programme and assessment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage complex student and academic queries, escalating where needed
2. Support assessment admin including mark sheets, data entry (e.g. SITS), and external examiner liaison
3. Organise meetings, minute-taking, and communications
4. Take ownership of a specialist area within the team
5. Contribute to student events (induction, enrolment, graduation) and external partner liaison
6. Help improve systems and processes within the team
About You:
7. Experience in admin roles within Higher or Further Education
8. Strong digital skills (MS Office, student systems e.g. SITS)
9. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and time management
10. Able to manage complex queries with professionalism
11. Confident working both independently and as part of a team
