Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Pay Rate: £110 – £120 per day

Role Overview:
We are looking to appoint a motivated and committed Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Secondary School in Folkestone. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and contributing to their academic progress, wellbeing, and personal development.
Working alongside teaching staff, you will support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping to foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
Key Duties:
* Provide classroom support on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
* Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom preparation
* Support students with SEN and additional learning needs
* Encourage positive behaviour and student engagement
* Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Person Specification:
* Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable)
* A calm, patient, and proactive attitude
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
