We are seeking a motivated podiatrist to deliver outcome‑focused care to our patient caseload within the Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals Trust Foot Health Department.
Responsibilities
* Provide autonomous quality podiatry assessment and treatment for a wide range of patients with systemic, chronic or acute medical and social needs at specific clinics and locations within the Trust.
* Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with patients, peers, and colleagues; manage own workload flexibly while measuring and demonstrating the effectiveness of activities and interventions.
* Meet the transportation requirements of this pan‑Trust role.
* Participate in departmental rotations across specialist podiatry fields, including MSK, rheumatology, paediatrics, and neurology, and engage in preceptorship and training programmes.
* Utilise supported training opportunities such as quality‑focused protected monthly half‑days, regular supervision, and personal development reviews.
Qualifications & Skills
* Qualified podiatrist with experience in autonomous assessment and treatment.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful collaborative relationships.
* Strong organisational skills to plan and manage a flexible workload.
