About the Organisation
Our organisation is continuously improving, driven by a commitment to deliver high-quality care. We have expanded our facilities, including opening two new theatres at King George Hospital, and our CEO has been recognized as a top leader in the health sector.
We operate from two main sites: KGH in Goodmayes and Queen’s Hospital in Romford, serving over 330,000 emergency department visitors last year. We are campaigning for funding to transform the A&E at Queen’s Hospital and eliminate corridor care.
Our facilities include the Women’s Health Hub in Ilford, the Ageing Well Centre in Hornchurch, and Community Diagnostic Centres providing extensive diagnostic services. Our staff come from diverse backgrounds, with many working flexibly and participating in apprenticeship programmes. We are proud to be a London Living Wage employer and are preparing to implement a new electronic patient record system.
