YOUR ROLE Our Air & Ocean team, based in Cardiff, have an exciting opportunity for a Air & Ocean Export Coordinator where you will coordinate air, ocean and road export freight forwarding activities to meet customer needs and requirements. This amazing role offers a salary of up to £24,800 per annum and will see you working Monday to Friday, with a rotating shift of 8:30am to 5pm and 9am to 5:30pm every other week. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? As the Junior Export Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and arranging international consignments according to client instructions and requirements for air, ocean and road freight. You will provide quotations for new traffic and trade lanes, invoice clients, and create export and customs entries for shipment arrivals where you will ensure accuracy and compliance in line with not only company regulations but AEO accreditations. You will ensure purchase and supplier queries are management and responded to in a timely manner and all data input into the system are accurate, maintaining data quality, processes and work instructions for the team. This role will see you engaging with clients, colleagues and customers regularly therefore you will have to be comfortable communicating via telephone and email. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Proven freight forwarding or export experience, ideally within an air, ocean or road freight environment. Excellent communicator both verbal and written. Natural problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail. Exceptional customer service skills. Capable of building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. IT literate, capable of using MS packages and systems. Customs experience would be desirable, however not essential as training will be provided. WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?
