The Role:
An opportunity has arisen for an IT Support Technician on a part-time basis to support our overall IT infrastructure. The role will be based in the company's Head Office in Portadown, with occasional travel to other sites in Northern Ireland as required. In this role you will provide responsive support to internal IT users; resolving day-to-day technical issues, maintaining the internal infrastructure including network, hardware, desktop, and server, overseeing internal software and packaged applications, as well as getting involved in internal IT projects.

*Main Responsibilities:*
* Setting up and supporting new starts and leavers, including provision of devices, accounts, and access/permissions.
* Acting as first level support and assuming full ownership and responsibility of IT support within the organisation, including remote sites, ensuring that all issues, queries and enquiries are dealt with promptly and professionally and satisfactorily concluded.
* Installing, configuring and troubleshooting of IT related software.
* Providing solutions in relation to hardware and software within the organisation
* Responsible for deployment of hardware and configuration of mobile phones, Microsoft based devices, and any associated VPN requirements
* Developing and managing the overall organisation IT infrastructure
* Management of anti-spam software
* Developing and maintaining IT Support Sharepoint site
* Work closely with the relevant stakeholders to ensure that the highest quality of technical support and consultancy is always delivered.
* Maintain confidentiality with regards to the information being processed, stored or accessed.
* Develop and maintain an in-depth technical knowledge of all systems and solutions.
* Bug Fixing
* Responsible for occasional support outside of normal working hours
*Experience & Skills Required:*
* Relevant experience in an IT role with proven experience of setting up and managing the software and hardware within an organisation as well as troubleshooting IT infrastructure, hardware, network, desktop, software and systems
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills are desired.
* Experience of security compliance in relation to VPNs and networks.
* Full and clean UK Driving Licence
