Academics is currently looking to recruit a cover supervisor/ Unqualified Teacher to work within our client secondary schools in Chester and the surrounding areas on a supply basis. This can be as flexible as you need or want it to be!
As a cover supervisor/ Unqualified Teacher you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity in the classroom, ensuring that students receive the best possible learning experience during their teachers absences.
Main Classroom Supervisor/ Unqualified Teacher responsibilities:
* Supervising secondary school students in the absence of the regular class teacher
* Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring a productive learning environment
* Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive and respectful atmosphere
* Adhering to school policies and procedures
* Making sure the students stay on task
What you will need to work as a Classroom Supervisor/ Unqualified Teacher with Academics:
* Previous experience supporting children and/or young adults is desirable
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Flexible and adaptable to different school environments
* Enhanced DBS certificate registered to the update service, or be willing to get one.
* To be based in Chester or surrounding areas.
