Overview
Computer Science Teacher – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately. These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings. You will be supporting pupils in Norwich and the surrounding areas, delivering engaging Computer Science lessons across Key Stages.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons following provided plans
* Teach a range of topics including programming, algorithms, data representation, networks, and digital literacy
* Support students in developing computational thinking and problem‑solving skills
* Manage behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies
* Assess and record pupil progress when required
* Adapt teaching strategies to support learners of varying abilities
* Contribute to departmental planning during longer‑term placements
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science or ICT
* Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
* Ability to motivate and inspire learners across different year groups
* Adaptable and flexible across different school environments
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
