We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented stores person to join a dynamic team at one of our clients in Hebburn. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the efficient flow of goods and materials through the supply chain, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to their customers. As a key player in their warehouse operations, you will coordinate with various stakeholders, address logistical challenges, and continuously seek opportunities to enhance their processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in stores management, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a drive to make any necessary improvements. Responsibilities: * Ensure On time receipt and inspection of all incoming goods ensuring accuracy and quality. Including visual Quality inspection. * Ensure material is picked, packed and put away in allocated storage areas ensuring that stock is rotated (if required – FIFO) ensuring product is labelled and safe. * Schedule and monitor pickup and delivery times with transportation providers.
