GSL Education are seeking reliable and adaptable Cover Supervisor – Supply staff to work in schools across Doncaster (DN2, DN6).
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in different school settings and are looking for flexible, rewarding work. As a Cover Supervisor – Supply, you will step into classrooms to supervise students during teacher absences, ensuring lessons run smoothly and students remain engaged with their learning.
Key Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor – Supply:
* Supervise classes across a range of subjects during teacher absences
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students stay on task
* Maintain a positive, focused, and productive classroom environment
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Support students in completing their work and learning activities
* Provide guidance and assistance where needed during lessons
* Report any behavioural issues or concerns to the relevant staff
* Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
Requirements of a Cover Supervisor:
* Experience working with children or young people is desirable
* Confidence in managing a classroom environment
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* The ability to adapt quickly to different school settings
* A flexible and proactive approach to work
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
