CHC Helicopter has an exciting opportunity for a Base Maintenance Shift Supervisor to join the team in Aberdeen. This role is ideal for someone looking to advance their career.
The successful candidate will report to the Base Maintenance Manager and will assist in motivating and driving the team to exceed project milestones and identify areas for continuous improvement. The role requires energetic, passionate leadership with a primary focus on safe operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Playing a key role in setting safety standards.
* Ensuring quality control of aircraft maintenance, equipment, and documentation.
* Delegating and prioritizing scheduled tasks for timely completion.
* Motivating team members to reach project milestones and improve processes.
* Briefing team members on tasks and safety considerations.
* Ensuring compliance with maintenance procedures.
* Coordinating maintenance and control of equipment and tooling.
* Monitoring documentation for compliance.
* Maintaining cleanliness of work areas.
* Serving as the point of contact for out-of-hours issues.
Ideal candidate qualifications:
* Recent helicopter line/base maintenance experience with certifying authority.
* UKCAA Part 66 Licence in CAT B1.3 and/or B2 with S92 and/or EC175 Type Rating.
* UK CAA Part 66 CAT C license.
* Knowledge of CAA regulations related to Part 145 Maintenance Organisation and Airworthiness.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work within a team and coordinate tasks across disciplines.
* Leadership qualities and problem-solving skills.
* Effective time management and adaptability to changing priorities.
* Awareness of MSDS and COSHH requirements.
* Experience with AMOS MRO software is desirable.
* Understanding of CHC core values and promotion of these values.
* Right to work in the UK.
