Overview
You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of financial transactions across the NFU and other entities. Your primary focus will be on managing the purchase ledger, validating invoices and credit notes, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and service providers. By ensuring timely payments and accurate reconciliations, you will help uphold the integrity of our financial systems and support the wider finance team in delivering a high-quality service. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will contribute directly to the efficiency and reliability of our financial operations.
The Finance Department plays a critical role in supporting the NFU's financial health and operational efficiency. It is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing insightful reporting to aid strategic decision-making. The team works collaboratively across departments to ensure timely processing of payments, effective budget management, and robust financial controls. By delivering reliable financial services and guidance, the department helps drive accountability, transparency, and long-term sustainability across the organisation.

Responsibilities
