Service Co-ordinator - Banbury
Salary: £27-28,000 per annum, pending experience, plus a six-monthly performance-related bonus scheme (roughly £1,000 per annum).
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm and Friday 8:30am-4:30pm.

Our client, a leading supplier of automotive emission testing equipment for the UK MOT aftermarket, is currently looking to recruit a Service Co-ordinator for their head office in Banbury.
Reporting to the Service Manager and working with a friendly, supportive team, you will take ownership of the day-to-day scheduling and administration of our client's field service operations.
Key responsibilities will include:
Full coordination of 3–4 field-based engineers.
Planning and scheduling annual and bi-annual preventative maintenance visits.
Managing reactive call-outs and prioritising urgent service requests.
Optimising engineer diaries to ensure efficiency and minimal downtime.
Monitoring job progress and ensuring timely completion.
Acting as the primary point of contact for service-related enquiries.
Providing clear updates to customers and distributors regarding ongoing issues.
Managing expectations and ensuring professional communication at all times.
Confidently handling incoming calls and resolving queries where possible.
Reviewing engineer reports and ensuring accurate documentation.
Raising invoices promptly upon job completion.
Taking upfront payments where required.
Ensuring all service activity is correctly logged and updated within the CRM system.
Supporting the Service Manager with reporting and service performance tracking.In order to be eligible, you will need to have proven experience in service coordination, scheduling, or field engineer planning. Any experience in the automotive industry would be highly desirable, but is non-essential, provided you've helped coordinate a mobile team. Overall, you will have a strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a reactive environment, commercial awareness and understanding of service revenue processes, have a confident telephone manner and clear communication skills, close attention to detail with strong organisational ability, be IT literate with experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office, and have the ability to work independently and take ownership of workload
