ROLE: Regional Operations Manager - Cleaning Services
HOURS: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, (flexibility required to meet business needs)
LOCATION: Swindon | Southern England (regional role)

Mitie are looking for an experienced Regional Manager to lead the delivery of large‑scale cleaning services across a fast‑paced, complex regional portfolio covering Southern England & Wales.
This is a senior operational leadership role where you will oversee service delivery and performance across your region, acting as the key interface between operational teams and the client. You will be accountable for operational KPIs and SLAs, using performance insight to drive efficiencies, continuous improvement, and cost savings, while ensuring a consistently high standard of service. Through strong leadership, you will inspire and develop teams to deliver an excellent customer experience and achieve outstanding operational and commercial outcomes.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Manage the service delivery, operational performance, and day‑to‑day operations across your regional portfolio,
2. Identify risks, opportunities and lead regular operational and strategic performance reviews with the client for your region,
3. Work closely with operational teams across multiple locations, focusing on building a high‑performing, engaged, and inclusive culture,
4. Manage regional and site‑based client and stakeholder relationships, leading regular service reviews and governance meetings,
5. Visit sites around your regional portfolio for client meetings, department walk downs, completing audits,
6. Ensure the sites operational KPIs and SLAs are met.
What we are looking for:
7. Proven senior operational management experience within Facilities Management, Warehouse, or Logistics,
8. Full UK driving licence, due to the regional nature of the role,
9. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead large, geographically dispersed teams,
10. Client‑driven, customer‑focused, and results oriented,
11. Motivated, proactive personality with people skills,
12. Experience working in a fast‑paced, operationally complex environment,
