Position Summary The ideal candidate will possess a knowledge and interest of entry level IT skills, preferably honed from further education of an IT background or on the job experience. They will have good communication skills, an approachable manner as well as enthusiasm and initiative. This role will be ideal as a first professional position as previous work experience is not essential. Principal Duties Provide troubleshooting and technical support face to face, via phone, web-based tools and email for our internal users as well as the setup and repair of our internal systems. Additionally there will be opportunity to work with the larger technical team learning WIFI and networking skills. Knowledge & Skill Requirements Base level technical knowledge. Useful product knowledge would include Office 365, Windows Server functionality, understanding of basic WIFI and wired patching. Advantageous but not essential - Understanding of Active Directory functions, Microsoft Management Portals, backup solutions, virtual desktop/server environments. Excellent time management and organisational skills. A proactive approach, critical thinking and good analytical skills are required for success. Ability to handle clients of varying ability professionally and effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills. A keen interest in IT and/or IT related subjects.
