Hours: Either 4 days (32 hours) or 5 days (37 hours) per week
Salary: Full-time (37 hours/week): £27,994 per annum OR /4-day week (32 hours/week): £24,210 per annum (£14.51/hour)

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Ledger Clerk/Credit Controller to join our Finance team. This role is essential in ensuring customer accounts are managed efficiently, payments are collected within agreed terms, and accounts are accurately maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Setting up new customer accounts on Sage Intacct (Resident Details)
2. Liaising with homes for resident details
3. Setting up and maintaining recurring templates (sales invoices) on Sage Intacct, including 1-2-1 charges
4. Closing off recurring sales invoice templates on Sage Intacct upon expiry
5. Maintaining resident lists
6. Processing changes arising from weekly resident updates from homes
7. Updating Sage Intacct customer and resident records with changes, funding, and leavers
8. Preparing final account letters and refund requests
9. Raising ad-hoc invoices as required (e.g., hospital discount, escort charges)
10. Reviewing payments versus receipts and investigating discrepancies
11. Ensuring sales invoice amounts agree to contracts
12. Preparing quarterly statements
13. Reviewing and chasing expired purchase orders with homes
14. Reviewing aged debtors for relevant homes
15. Liaising with homes regarding unpaid accounts and issuing debt-chasing letters
16. Ensuring all debts for homes are chased
17. Issuing change of funding letters
18. Preparing annual rate increase letters
19. Attending monthly debtors meetings with homes
20. Acting upon and circulating debtors reports to colleagues across the organisation
21. Attending monthly internal debtors meetings
22. Taking credit card payments
23. Supporting purchase ledger as required
What We’re Looking For:
24. Experience in sales ledger processes and credit control
25. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
26. High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
27. Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools
28. Willingness to travel to care home sites as needed
29. Ideally will hold AAT qualification or similar
30. Experience of care sector and funding would be advantageous.
31. A full UK driving licence is essential as travel across our care homes will be required on occasions.
