Senior Quality Engineer / Coach and Mentor
We are seeking an experienced hands on Quality professional to work alongside the current Quality Manager to support them during a period of operational and process development.
Paying £300 to £400 per day (6 month to 12 month contract)
This role is focused on:
* Providing practical support and guidance
* Sharing experience from similar manufacturing environments
* Strengthening process control and problem-solving approaches
* Supporting the development of existing team and systems
The experience that we are looking for the Senior Quality Engineer / Coach and Mentor
* Strong background in manufacturing quality (10+ years)
* Experience in:
o Aerospace, OEM or high-spec industries
o AS9100 / ISO9001 environments
* Hands‑on experience in:
o Root cause analysis and process improvement (8D)
Based in Stone, Staffordshire
Desirable skills for Senior Quality Engineer / Coach and Mentor
* Background in:
o Metallurgy or materials engineering
o Powder metallurgy / sintering processes
* Experience within:
o CNC machining environments
* Familiarity with:
o NDT and inspection techniques

* Collaborative and supportive approach
* Strong communicator, able to work across all levels
* Practical and hands‑on
* Able to share knowledge without dominating

This is a collaborative, non-hierarchical role designed to add experience and capacity, not to replace or supersede existing leadership.
