Maintenance Engineer – Exeter, Devon
Salary: GBP44,000 – GBP46,000
Working pattern: 4 days on followed by 4 days off, including nights.

Our client is a leading manufacturer dedicated to producing products of unparalleled quality. With a strong order book, ongoing investment in the factory and growth into various export markets, they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team.
Role and Responsibilities
* Plan and conduct maintenance inspections; review parts used.
* Recommend improvements aligned with projects and maintenance schedules; carry out safety checks on a range of equipment.
* Monitor plant conditions, report defects, and repair machinery.
* Generate and maintain compliance with SOPs and risk assessments.
* Report on plant performance using systems; ensure action on non-conformance issues.
* Work on a range of valves and pumps.
* Support production and continuous improvement projects.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Formal engineering qualification: C and G Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or apprenticeship trained.
* Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
* Strong understanding of good engineering standards.
* Experience in food, packaging, drink, or manufacturing environments.
