Emerging Technologies Explore and develop a detailed understanding of external developments with regards to all types of technology relevant to the function/area of responsibility, ensure they are incorporated in the delivery of the role's objectives and contribute to the evaluation of their potential impact on, or usefulness to, the organisation. Technology Projects/Products Delivery Execution Execute and deliver elements of the digital road map, leveraging agile and design-thinking principles to drive sustainable implementation. Budget Planning and Delivery Develop, deliver, and manage small budget plans. Conduct forecasting, monitor adherence to budget constraints and recommend corrective actions as required to ensure successful delivery within financial parameters. Technology Portfolio Management Plan and deliver small projects/products, using Agile principles and methodology to give assurance that intended outcomes are achieved. Products & Services Assurance Provide the first line of assurance on products and services of low to moderate complexity and scope, ensuring issues and risks are addressed and mitigation plans are in place to maintain stable and resilient performance. Technology Delivery Management Manage the end-to-end process of design, develop, test and deploy and run of products or services of low to moderate complexity and scope leveraging the appropriate domain expertise and methodology, developing and maintaining the technology roadmap and ensuring the development work is prioritized in line with business requirements. External Consultant or Contractor Management Prepare briefings and information for external consultants or advisers to support the delivery of key projects and/or ad hoc services. Monitor and evaluate outcomes and recommend remedial actions where necessary. Performance Management Develop and propose own performance objectives; take appropriate actions to ensure achievement of agreed objectives, using the organization's performance management systems to improve personal performance. Or manage and report on team performance; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports or project/account team members and hold people accountable for achieving them, taking appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of team/personal objectives.
