We are looking for dedicated and highly motivated Band 6 Midwives, to become valued members of our friendly and growing Team.
We are looking for experienced Midwives who are looking to advance their career, ideally candidates will possess well-rounded experience across various clinical settings, demonstrating proficiency in making informed clinical decisions and mentoring junior colleagues towards excellence in their practice.

Main duties of the job
We are actively recruiting proficient midwives with substantial and proven experience in midwifery, who have successfully completed their midwifery preceptorship. Job responsibilities
The individual in this role will function as an integral part of the team, offering and leading midwifery care for service users and their families accessing services at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospital NHS Trust.
Person Specification
Education
* Registered Midwife on the NMC professional register
* Degree or equivalent experience
* Evidence of ongoing relevant continuing professional development
Knowledge
* Have an understanding of the national agenda / Maternity Transformation Programme
Experience
* Completed preceptorship and working as a Band 6 Midwife
* Experience working in all areas of maternity - antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal
