We are looking for an Associate Innovation Product Manager to work in the Innovation Lab, reporting to the Head of Innovation, and focus on designing, measuring, and reporting the success or failure of prototype products and services. You will work closely with the key stakeholders to determine the value of products and their features, and collaborate with the Innovation development team to ensure clear understanding of user stories and the value they’re adding.
You will own product release roadmaps and collaborate with the development team to clarify requirements and provide direction, contributing to the overall innovation strategy of the company. Overall, as an Associate Innovation Product Manager, you will be a key part of the Innovation team, driving success by delivering valuable products that meet the needs of our customers.

You will be accountable for:
1. Collaborating with stakeholders and Head of Innovation to define product requirements and immerse yourself in the problem space to ensure a deep understanding of user needs and perspectives, spotting opportunities for game-changing innovation.
2. Designing, establishing, and managing trials of POCs and prototype products, working closely with internal and external stakeholders. Multiple trials may run parallel and be at different stages in their lifecycle.
3. Developing and executing user acceptance testing (UAT) for software and hardware solutions.
4. Building and maintaining the Innovation roadmap for senior leadership exposure.
5. Reporting product metrics along with trial data that represent progress against goals to key stakeholders both internal and external.
6. Travelling within the UK to support the success of trials and engaging with customers and couriers.
7. Promoting the work of the Innovation Lab and the results of its trials and proofs of concepts using different methods, including short videos.
Finance
8. Researching and drafting high level business cases for innovation opportunities.
9. Baselining and measuring business and user activity and performance to enable benefit identification, realisation planning and traceability to original trial design requirements.
10. Evaluating ongoing investment with a view of stop/continue/pivot recommendations.
Customer, supplier and third parties
11. Working collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure trials are given the best chance of success, required service levels and quality are maintained and business value delivered for future scale.
Communication
12. Working closely with business stakeholders along with colleagues in the Innovation Lab, including experienced innovators, software developers, and external experts to maximize the success of trials.
To be successful in this role you will require the following…
13. BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management, Business Administration or other technical discipline is desirable.
14. Experience of building solutions to customer/user needs in a collaborative environment.
15. A creative flair, capable of showcasing our ideas using digital media, videos, demos, posters etc. Experience of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma would be preferable.
16. Experience of business change (people, process and technology) projects and initiatives.
17. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data and trial results to diverse audiences. Experience using data visualisation tools (such as Power BI).
18. Empathy for Evri’s customers and couriers, with the ability to represent their needs in product design.
19. Experience working with innovative technologies; these might include robots, AI chatbots, voice assistants, routing software, and computer vision.
20. Ability to storyboard, film, and potentially act in promotional videos for internal and professional social media use.
