Key Responsibilities
1. Provide classroom and one-on-one support to help students stay focused and engaged.
2. Adapt learning materials and activities to meet the unique needs of students, including those with SEN such as autism or ADHD.
3. Collaborate with the class teacher to tailor learning strategies.
4. Offer emotional support, boosting confidence and encouraging self-esteem.
5. Track and monitor progress, working closely with the school's SENCO to develop and review individualised support plans.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience working with vulnerable students in SEMH or PMLD schools is necessary.
* Compassionate, patient, and understanding approach to children's needs.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Genuine commitment to supporting children's well-being and academic growth.
