LOCATION: NORWICH. The preferred location is TGS | 4C’s office in Norwich, UK. It is also possible to work from TGS offices in Weybridge, UK or Oslo, Norway.
Purpose & Scope of Role:
1. To lead TGS | 4C’s coverage of floating wind market and technology trends.
2. To maintain TGS | 4C’s database and contribute to reports and webinars.
3. To analyse policy and project developments in key APAC markets.
Key Responsibilities:
4. Maintain extensive and up-to-date technology and stakeholder databases.
5. Contribute to sole-author and multi-author reports.
6. Take responsibility for TGS | 4C’s floating wind technology tracker and attractiveness framework.
7. Engage proactively with customers and industry stakeholders and assist in consultancy projects.
8. Present externally at events and in webinars.
9. Participate in quality control.
Essential Skills and Experience:
10. A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as mathematics, engineering, energy journalism, or policy analysis.
11. Strong research skills and an analytic mindset.
12. Awareness of offshore wind and floating wind.
13. Evidence of strong communication skills.
14. Experience of quantitative or qualitative analysis.
15. Excellent collaboration and time management skills.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
16. A postgraduate qualification or equivalent.
17. Advanced industry, sector, and/or technical knowledge.
18. Familiarity with data languages such as SQL.
19. Additional skills in a specific area such as economics, coding, or languages.
