Key Account Manager – Energy Transition & Decarbonisation

About the Role
We’re seeking a commercially driven Key Account Manager to join our expanding global sales team. You’ll be at the forefront of supporting energy transition sectors, working with industries such as:
* Oil & Gas
* Power Generation
* Carbon Capture
* Hydrogen Generation & Storage
* Waste-to-X
* Power Grid
* Renewable Heating
Your focus will be on developing new business opportunities, growing existing accounts, and delivering sustainable, profitable results.
What You’ll Do
* Manage and grow a defined portfolio of key accounts within your sector focus.
* Build strong, long-term client relationships while identifying new business opportunities.
* Interpret customer technical requirements (specifications, drawings, standards) and propose effective solutions.
* Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and bid documentation to secure new projects.
* Collaborate with engineering, project management, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure delivery excellence.
* Support marketing initiatives aimed at driving growth in targeted sectors.
* Travel within the UK and internationally to attend client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
What We’re Looking For
* 3+ years’ experience in Key Account Management or Engineering / Applications roles within relevant energy or industrial sectors.
* Proven track record in sales of technical or engineered products (e.g., pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping, storage tanks, modular skids, acoustic & filtration equipment).
* Strong knowledge of the UK & EU market and working practices.
* Background in engineering/manufacturing with the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
* Commercial awareness, analytical mindset, and problem-solving ability.
Qualifications
* Diploma or higher in Business, Engineering, or Manufacturing (degree preferred).
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
