Pay: £110 – £120 per day (paid weekly)
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work across Gateshead and Newcastle for the new academic year starting September.
We are working with a number of schools who are still looking to secure confident, reliable, and experienced HLTAs to support their classrooms on both a short-term and long-term basis.
The Role:
As a HLTA, you will be expected to:
Deliver planned lessons and cover classes where required
Support teachers with classroom management and intervention delivery
Work independently with groups or individuals to boost learning
Contribute to planning and assessment as required
Maintain a safe and positive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold HLTA status or equivalent experience in school settings
Be confident managing whole-class and small-group teaching
Be reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to new environments quickly
Be committed to supporting pupil progress and school values
Have an Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
