Role Summary:
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Professional Indemnity Claims professional to join a respected London-based team specialising in solicitors and accountants risks. This is a highly visible, heavily client-facing role suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, advising stakeholders, and taking ownership of complex claims matters. You’ll join a business that values expertise, promotes internally, and offers a clear path for progression.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a portfolio of Professional Indemnity claims involving solicitors and accountants, handling technically engaging matters from notification through to resolution
* Act as a key client contact, building trusted relationships and delivering a high standard of service throughout the claims lifecycle
* Liaise with insurers, legal representatives, brokers and internal teams to drive positive outcomes and strengthen market relationships
* Provide strategic and technical guidance on coverage, liability and claims handling approach
* Negotiate settlements and progress claims efficiently, giving you ownership and autonomy
* Represent the business confidently in client meetings, reviews and ongoing relationship management
Requirements:
* Experience handling Professional Indemnity claims
* Exposure to solicitors’ and/or accountants’ risks
* Strong client-facing skills with confidence managing external relationships
* Strong technical claims knowledge and commercial awareness
* Ability to prioritise a varied caseload in a fast-paced environment
* Insurance, broker, legal practice or claims background considered
