My client is recruiting a Sous Chef to join an established, award-winning food company at one of London’s most newest & prestigious staff dining locations. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your creativity, leadership and organisational skills in a high-profile retail concession — all while enjoying an excellent work–life balance.
The Role
As Sous Chef, you’ll oversee all food offerings from breakfast through to lunch, delivering vibrant, high-quality food in a fast-paced but supportive environment.
While hot food is prepared off-site at our Central Production Unit (CPU), you’ll be responsible for:
1. Reheating and serving hot dishes in line with F&B safety and compliance standards
2. MEP Preparing and beautifully displaying fresh, seasonal offerings
3. Producing sandwiches and exciting grab & go offerings
4. Maintaining high standards of presentation, quality and consistency
Leadership & Responsibilities
You’ll play a key role in the daily operation of the kitchen, including:
5. Maintaining excellent food safety standards at all times
Working in line with HACCP procedures
Correct temperature control (especially important as food is reheated from the CPU)
Safe storage, labelling and date rotation
Ensuring compliance with EHO and company audits
Leading by example and training the team on food safety best practice
What We’re Looking For
6. Experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous ready to step up
7. Confident leader with great communication skills
8. Passion for fresh, seasonal food and modern salad concepts
9. Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen operations
10. Organised, proactive and hands-on approach
