Job Description
What you'll be doing:
Audit & Compliance
* Conduct NSI and BAFE annual, technical, and product audits, ensuring compliance with PD6662, NSI, BAFE, and NCP 104 & 109 standards.
* Audit engineering work to ensure all installations meet relevant British Standards and company requirements.
* Audit approved subcontractors to validate quality, compliance, and consistency of delivery.
* Review and audit Sales documentation and associated technical documents.
* Ensure all audit findings are recorded on the correct system‑specific documentation and securely stored in the appropriate electronic repository.
Quality Assurance & Reporting
* Identify deficiencies in compliance or workmanship and expedite findings to Engineering and Sales Managers.
* Analyse documented and engineering trend data, providing insights that support the development of Engineering and Sales teams.
* Recommend product, engineering, and process improvements to management and the Lead Technical Auditor.
* Identify training needs for both Sales and Engineering staff and support initiatives that raise technical capability across the business.

Qualifications
What you'll need:
Experience & Technical Requirements
* Minimum 7 years’ experience in the installation and maintenance of Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, Entry Phone, and Fire Alarm Systems.
* Robust technical knowledge across Intruder, Access, CCTV, Entry Phone, Fire Alarm, and signalling systems.
* Good working knowledge of high‑end CCTV systems including cameras, matrix equipment, and PC/IP‑based recording systems.
* In‑depth understanding of British Standards, NSI and BAFE regulations relevant to security and fire systems.
Minimum Skills & Competencies
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent organisational ability and time‑management skills.
* Demonstrable knowledge of electronic fire and security products.
* Understanding of British Standards and accreditation requirements.
* Knowledge of NSI and BAFE regulations (FIA Level 3 preferred).
* Ability to work independently and use initiative.
* High‑quality report writing skills.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
