We are looking to recruit a Credit Management Supervisor to coach and support a team of Accounts Assistants based at our Head Office in Nottinghamshire, this role will be a mix between Head Office and working from home, so flexibility is key. The Credit Management Supervisor will be responsible and accountable for ensuring that they and their team prioritise and proactively collect debt and contact customers with overdue accounts on behalf of the businesses.
With so many credit checks for new customers and ensuring that due diligence has taken place to mitigate the risk posed to the business it is critical that the successful candidate is highly organised, pro-active and has a great attention to detail.
With a relatively large team to supervise we are looking for a person who can drive daily performance and ensure they and their team can deliver against KPIs and SLA’s to deliver optimum service levels.
As Credit Management Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for and not limited to;
1. Working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure processes are performed in accordance with performance and quality standards
2. Performing team member 1-2-1’s
3. Reviewing, analysing, and resolving errors in credit checks and other accounts to ensure compliance with all necessary regulations
4. Ensuring you and your team follow credit control procedures to collect outstanding debts in accordance to policies for delinquent accounts
5. Ensuring you and your team are always compliant with credit policies, contractual frameworks and the associated core credit and debt recovery processes
Requirements to be successful in the role of Credit Management Supervisor;
6. Strong coaching and people development focus with a successful track record of motivating and developing teams of people
7. At least 2+ years credit control experience and 1+ years previous experience in a similar credit supervisory/leadership role in a similar fast paced business
8. Ability to work well under pressure
9. Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate and contribute effectively with large teams, peers, managers and in virtual teams
10. Complete and thorough understanding of end-to- end credit control processes
11. Highly numerate, with the ability to process financial data quickly and with a strong attention to detail
12. The ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels across the wider business to achieve goals and objectives
