Finance and Office Assistant Here at Procurae Group we've had a busy couple of years. We've achieved significant growth in the number of 'people we support' as well as employee numbers. As a group we employ over 250 people and have a turnover in excess of £10m. We are now looking to add to our Head Office Team with the role of Finance & Office Assistant. This role will directly support the Finance Manager with day-to-day finance duties, as well as supporting the HR Manager and undertaking general office duties. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to learn from an experienced Finance Manager and to grow and develop in the role. For the right person, there will be the future opportunity of support to undertake a professional finance qualification. About the role Support the Finance Manager in the following areas: * Weekly payroll and timesheet administration * Preparation of sales invoices and sales reports * Purchase ledger administration * Supplier statement reconciliations * Purchasing cards reconciliation and journal postings * Maintaining mileage records General office duties to include the following areas: * HR system management * Onboarding and offboarding processes * Monitoring HR emails such as reference requests * Supporting the HR manager with data input and compliance checks * Assisting with the purchasing of general office supplies and consumables There will also be the opportunity to support the Finance Manager and wider business with ad hoc project work including, IT systems reviews and rollouts, recruitment fairs, HR administration and staff wellbeing initiatives. This is essentially a full-time role but part-time may be considered for the right applicant. The office is based in Brighouse and work will be on-site. About you You will be a hard working, proactive and professional person. You will have a real desire to make a difference in your role and support the Finance team and wider business. This role will continue to develop and grow in the coming years and so would be best suited to an ambitious individual who understands that hard work and dedication will be the key to future career progression. You will be intelligent, articulate and have a good level of attention to detail. Ideally you will have good Microsoft Excel expertise. You will be able to problem solve and after taking instructions, will be able to work independently and to a high standard. Full training will be provided and therefore in addition to the above skills and aptitudes, we are looking for someone who cares and wants to make a difference. On occasions there will be travel within the UK, however this will rarely require an overnight stay.
