Senior Care Practitioner Days. Manor Park Care Home
Hours: Full and Part Time roles available
Salary: £14.23 per hour
Start Date: Early September (exact date TBC)
Shift Pattern: 8am-8pm
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Care Practitioner to join our team at the brand-new Manor Park Care Home, opening in mid-September in the heart of Malton.
As a Senior Care Practitioner, you will play a key leadership role within the care team, supporting the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care while mentoring and guiding junior colleagues. You’ll be a role model for best practice and help ensure that every resident receives the dignity, respect, and compassion they deserve.

Key Responsibilities.
Lead by example in delivering exceptional personal care and support to residents.
Support the Care Team Leader and Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the care floor.
Administer medication safely and accurately in line with policies and training.
Mentor and support Care Practitioners and new team members.
Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, reporting any changes promptly.
Maintain accurate care records and contribute to care planning and reviews.
Promote a safe, clean, and welcoming environment in line with health and safety standards.
Support residents with daily living activities, encouraging independence and engagement.
Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies as needed.

What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a senior care role within a residential or nursing home setting.
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it).
Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
A compassionate, proactive, and professional approach to care.
Confidence in administering medication and using care systems.
