Position: Junior Fire Engineer / Fire Engineer
Location: East Midlands
Role Overview:
Our client is seeking skilled Junior Fire Engineers and Fire Engineers to deliver essential Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) services. You'll be responsible for maintaining life safety systems, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and working across multiple sites. If you're looking for a dynamic role with the opportunity to make an impact, this is the role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
* Complete accurate, timely service reports
* Service, maintain, and install fire alarm systems (BS5839-1), emergency lighting, Nurse Call, and Access Control systems
* Strive for first-time fixes to improve efficiency
* Identify and report system deficiencies or issues
* Conduct regular van stock checks and collaborate with the team to manage stock levels
* Maintain emergency lighting systems and related equipment (e.g., fire extinguishers, AOVs)
* Prioritise Health & Safety in all tasks
Qualifications:
* Experience working with fire safety systems
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Focused on providing high-quality service and support
* Must have a full UK driving licence
