Sub Agent – Southern Water Framework Southampton LTD We’re seeking an experienced Sub Agent to join a key project within the Southern Water framework in Southampton. This role offers the chance to work on essential clean water and wastewater infrastructure schemes, supporting the delivery of critical utilities for the region. The Role As Sub Agent, you’ll play a vital role in managing site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll support the Project Manager and lead site teams across a range of water infrastructure works. Key Responsibilities Overseeing day-to-day site operations on water projects Managing engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards Driving programme delivery and resolving on-site issues Reviewing drawings, specifications, and RAMS Monitoring progress, costs, and quality of works Maintaining accurate site records and reporting to senior management Requirements Proven experience as a Sub Agent within the water sector (clean water or wastewater) Experience working on frameworks such as Southern Water (or similar UK water utilities) Strong knowledge of civil engineering and infrastructure delivery Excellent leadership and communication skills SMSTS and relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) What’s on Offer Long-term work on established water frameworks Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to progress within a leading contractor Supportive and collaborative working environment If you’re a Sub Agent with water experience looking for your next opportunity in Southampton, apply now or get in touch to learn more
