About Us:
Waters View is a small, family-oriented residential home, including dementia care. Our dedicated team works together to create a warm and supportive environment where residents feel safe, valued, and respected.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Night Senior Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will lead the night shift, ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents while maintaining the high standards of care that Waters View is known for.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and supervise the night care team, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard.
* Provide person-centred care to residents, including assistance with personal care, mobility, and other needs.
* Administer medication in accordance with policies and procedures.
* Respond promptly to emergencies and ensure the safety and security of the home during the night.
* Maintain accurate records and complete necessary documentation.
* Conduct regular checks on residents and ensure a calm, quiet, and comforting environment.
* Act as a point of contact for residents, staff, and family members during the night.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a care role, ideally in dementia care.
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is preferred.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Knowledge of medication administration procedures.
* A caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
* Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
* Flexibility to work nights, including weekends and bank holidays.

7pm-7:15am
2 Shifts per week
Every other weekend essential.
Job Type: Part-time
