Do you have a mechanical background?


We’re working in partnership with a market leader in garage equipment solutions to recruit skilled Breakdown Engineers across several UK regions.


This is a mechanically focused role where you’ll be the go-to expert, keeping customer workshops safe, compliant, and fully operational.


What you’ll do:

* Respond to breakdowns and carry out on-site repairs.
* Diagnose and fix mechanical & electrical faults.
* Service, maintain, and calibrate garage equipment.
* Ensure work meets safety and compliance standards.
* Provide excellent communication and customer support.


What we’re looking for:

✔ Strong mechanical background (hydraulics, pneumatics, or similar).

✔ Experience with emission & brake testing equipment.

✔ Knowledge of electronics or electrically controlled systems.

✔ Great fault-finding, problem-solving, and communication skills.

(Previous field service/garage equipment experience is a bonus!)
