A highly regarded charity and school local to you is looking for a empathetic, passionate and kind Support worker to support young people and adults with complex needs on a full time permanent basis. This setting is a day centre offering education, life skills and work experience. This setting offers support that will help SEN learners now and in the future. The setting supports those from the age of 18 years. The setting is commended by parents, pupils, staff and OFSTED and have recently been graded Outstanding. Applicants for this role must be available all year round, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. (This is not shift work)
Permanent support worker role
Team Teach training provided by Randstad Education or the school
Modern resources and equipment including on site gym
Free meals onsite
There is lots of room for progression in the roles, from senior support worker to skill development and other areas to branch into (therapies, inclusion support etc.)
ideal candidates will be flexible, resilient and have a positive approach to young people and adults with SEN
~6 months care or education experience
~ Supporting young people and adults with SEN needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
Within a week of the closing date, appropriate applicants will begin a three-stage interview process, after which shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend the final stage of the interview process with appropriate school leadership.
