Weare looking for askilled and motivatedOperations Business Manager - Repairsto join our Operations(Property) team and to help us achieve our social mission. About the role Within the role youwill ensure the delivery of a high-performing, cost-effective service that meets all legal,regulatoryand statutory requirements.Youlloversee performance monitoring, drive service improvements, and manage both in-house operatives and external contractors to ensure work meets our standards. Youllbe responsible forinspections, budgeting, compliance and resolving customer complaints, ensuring lessons learned drive continuous improvement.Youllalso take part in the out-of-hours rota, ensuring urgent issues are handled efficiently. A strong focus on Health & Safety is essential, andyoullwork in line withFairhivepolicies, particularly those relating to Responsive Repairs, VoidsMaintenanceand the Asset Management Framework. This isa great opportunityfor an experienced leader who can deliverhigh standards, motivateteamsand ensure a responsive, customer-focused service. About you Werelooking for someonewith: A degree, or technical experience, built on through substantial experience in a variety of settings An HND in Building Surveying or equivalent Experience of repairs within a social housing environment Experience of managing trade operatives within a repairs team Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organisational, time management, administrative and prioritisation skills For more information, please refer to the attached job description.
