Full-Time Teacher – KS4 Full Curriculum | Alternative Provision Are you a dedicated, flexible educator ready to inspire students who need a fresh start? We’re looking for a full-time teacher to deliver a broad Key Stage 4 curriculum within a supportive alternative provision, working with young people who have experienced challenges in mainstream education. Based in a newly refurbished community centre, this setting offers a dynamic and adaptable learning environment designed around students’ individual needs. Facilities include state-of-the-art all-weather 3G five-a-side football pitches, a fully equipped gym, a community café, and a youth club — creating an engaging space where academic learning and personal growth go hand in hand. About the Role Teach engaging, accessible lessons across the full KS4 curriculum to small groups. Support students in overcoming barriers to learning, helping them work towards positive outcomes. Create a structured, nurturing, and motivational classroom environment. Collaborate with a skilled and supportive team to implement strategies that boost engagement, confidence, and progress. What We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Experience in alternative provision, SEN settings, or working with students with EHCPs is highly desirable. Strong behaviour management and the ability to build positive, trusting relationships with students. A patient, resilient, and compassionate teaching style with the ability to adapt approaches to meet diverse needs.
