Are you a dynamic, results-driven professional looking to make an impact in the energy infrastructure sector? Join Rock Power Connections, a leading Independent Connections Provider (ICP), where innovation, quality, and collaboration drive everything we do. We specialize in the design and installation of new and upgraded electricity connections for commercial and industrial properties, including cutting-edge EV charging solutions.
As an ICP Project Manager, youll be at the heart of our operations, managing the end-to-end delivery of electricity contestable connections up to 33kV. Your role will also include overseeing the construction and installation of EV infrastructure, ensuring that every project is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Youll manage a diverse portfolio of projects, providing clear and timely updates to stakeholders and ensuring all deliverables align with client expectations. Working closely with our Business Development, Tendering, and Design teams, youll turn client requirements into practical, high-performing solutions. Engaging with clients throughout the design phase, youll gather feedback, secure timely approvals, and build strong, lasting relationships.
Planning and coordination will be central to your success, as youll liaise with clients, contractors, and internal technical teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery. Youll maintain tight control of project finances, manage variations, and ensure procurement of labour and materials stays within budget.
In this role, youll take ownership of quality assurance by conducting site audits, resolving any non-conformances, and ensuring installations meet all required specifications. Youll be responsible for compliance with DNO and IDNO standards, and youll manage public highway works in accordance with NRSWA and HAUC regulations.
Promoting a strong culture of health, safety, and continuous improvement is fundamental to the role. Youll contribute to enhancing internal processes and best practices while documenting project progress through photography, supporting future case studies and marketing efforts.
What Were Looking For:
To succeed in this role, youll need experience within the DNO or ICP environment—ideally already operating as a Project Manager. Youll bring a solid background in project management and hold a certificate of competency as an Electrician or Electrical Fitter. A valid drivers licence is essential, as site travel will be part of your role.
Desirable Extras:
While not essential, qualifications such as SSSTS or SMSTS, a CSCS card, project management certification, or an Emergency First Aid at Work certificate would be a welcome bonus.
If youre looking to take the next step in your career with a forward-thinking, fast-growing ICP, wed love to hear from you.
