DevOps Engineer – Leeds | Hybrid (1 day office per week)

This isn’t just another DevOps role. The company is kicking off a multi-million-pound, 3-year technology programme, and you’ll be at the heart of it...shaping how platforms, automation, and cloud services come together to make a real-world impact.
What you’ll tackle
* Build and grow a high-performing Platform Engineering team from scratch.
* Design resilient, scalable platforms across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid systems.
* Champion DevOps and automation to accelerate delivery and reduce complexity.
* Drive adoption of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to boost reliability and uptime.
* Experiment with new tools and technologies, keeping the platform future-proof.
* Collaborate across Engineering, Architecture, and Delivery to ensure smooth integration.
What we’re looking for
* Strong Azure cloud experience (compute, networking, resource management).
* Hands-on with Azure DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, Boards, Repos.
* Familiarity with IaC (Terraform, ARM templates, Azure CLI).
* Deep understanding of modern platform management: DevOps, Agile, SRE, ITIL.
* Experience scaling platforms in regulated or complex environments.
* Excellent communicator who can influence senior stakeholders.
