We are looking for a part time compassionate and dedicated Band 5 Staff Nurse to join the Gynaecology Outpatient and Colposcopy team at the West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust.
You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a genuine passion caring for Women undergoing all aspects of gynaecological care.
As a Staff Nurse, you will be working alongside a supportive and committed multi-disciplinary team. Previous gynaecology experience is desirable but not essential. We are a dynamic unit which treats a wide range of Gynaecological conditions.

Main duties of the job
This post will include, coordinating care and chaperoning the patients attending gynaecology outpatients, assisting in the colposcopy clinics and also those attending the gynaecology termination clinic. There will be opportunities for you to develop and expand within your role. You can expect to receive in house training from the Gynaecology Outpatient Sisters and other members of the team. Excellent communication skills, a friendly approachable nature and the ability to manage your own workload are required.
STAFF CAR PARKING
Staff Car Parking on the West Suffolk Hospital Site is eligible for individuals working outside of the core hours, 07:00 - 18:30.
For individuals working within the core hours, the Trust offers parking off site at the Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club, which is serviced by a regular shuttle bus to and from the Hospital. Details of the bus timetable can be found in the on-line starter pack on the West Suffolk Hospital website.
This parking restriction does not apply if an individual is required to work on a weekend or if they are required to complete on call duties within their role.
