Job Title: Therapy Team Manager Location: Hitchin, Hertfordshire Salary: £49,383 - £55,647 per annum (pro-rata: £31,746 - £34,065.19) Hours: 22.5 hours per week (Part-Time) About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Therapy Team Manager to lead a specialist therapy and recreational therapy team within a respected neurological care centre. The service supports adults aged 18 living with a wide range of neurological conditions and acquired brain injuries. This is an exciting leadership opportunity to drive the development, quality, and delivery of therapy services within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation setting. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the therapy and recreational therapy team across the full care pathway—from referral to discharge. Monitor caseloads and ensure the delivery of efficient and effective person-centred treatment programmes. Champion clinical governance, implementing best practices in clinical risk management. Ensure that documentation meets professional and service standards. Provide day-to-day leadership, staff support, and supervision. Chair interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to service development initiatives. Collaborate with external professionals to resolve cross-organisational operational matters. Deliver and evaluate therapy interventions, maintaining responsibility for your own caseload within a defined clinical area. Monitor team compliance with mandatory training and encourage professional development. Contribute to quality improvement via audits, user feedback, peer reviews, and outcome measures. About You: BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Registered with a relevant Professional Body (e.g., CSP) Proven post-registration training and leadership experience in a health or social care setting Experience working with clients with complex neurological conditions and disabilities In-depth knowledge of neurological assessment and rehabilitation using advanced clinical reasoning Skilled in managing clinical teams, including performance management and recruitment Experience in service improvement initiatives, audit participation, and outcome evaluations Membership in a specialist interest group (e.g., ACPIN or ACPIVR) is desirable Benefits: Pro-rata annual salary: £31,746 - £34,065.19 38 days annual leave (pro-rata) Company pension scheme Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Eye care vouchers Long service awards and staff recognition initiatives Free on-site parking Comprehensive training and career development support Why Apply?
