Role: Teacher of ICT/STEM

Start Date: September, Full-Time, Permanent

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Do you want to work in SEN education?

Have you worked in a UK School setting with SEN students?

Do you stay patient and resilient in tough situations?

If yes, Randstad Education is looking for a creative ICT/STEM Teacher to lead our approach and develop engaging lessons that inspire students. Successful candidates should have strong ICT skills, a passion for technology, and the ability to share their knowledge with others.

This is a specialist school dedicated to supporting children with complex special educational needs. Responsibilities

* Build positive, trusting relationships to ensure students feel safe and engaged in learning.
* Foster independence and personal growth, maintaining high behavioural expectations.
* Develop and manage tailored, high-quality resources to meet individual or group needs.
* Support students' cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical, and spiritual development.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to share relevant student information.
* Take responsibility for the progress and attainment of students in your classes.


Requirements

* PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification with ongoing professional development.
* Strong academic background and experience in ICT, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths.
* Excellent ICT skills, enthusiasm for technology, and ability to share knowledge.
* Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
* Skilled at building supportive relationships with young people.
* Experience supporting diverse learning needs, including anxious or reluctant learners.
