Senior AccountantBirminghamSalary £45,000 - £55,000
Butler Rose, public practice is delighted to be supporting our client, a well-established medium size firm in Birmingham who's currently got an opportunity for a Senior Accountant.
Role Requirements -
* Prepare statutory accounts, tax returns, VAT returns, and business plans for a variety of clients including sole traders, partnerships, limited companies/LLP's.
* Overseeing a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
* Nurturing client relationships and offering tax and accounting advice supported by the Client Manager.
* Mentoring and supporting junior team members.
* Assist in implementing cloud-based software for clients like Xero and Dext and providing financial health checks for clients.
* Assisting on ad hoc projects.
Personal Requirements -
* ACA / ACCA newly qualified or in the final stages of qualification.
* Solid accountancy practice experience, with a strong understanding of bookkeeping, statutory accounts, and management accounts.
* Good understanding of corporation tax, income tax, capital gains tax and VAT.
* Familiarity with cloud accounting systems such as Xero, Dext, and Fathom.
* Good communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
