About the Role:
The Flexible Teacher role involves covering classes during staff absences, delivering engaging lessons and supporting students’ academic progress. You’ll work across different subjects and year groups, ensuring continuity in learning and maintaining the high standards expected by schools.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-prepared lessons effectively across a range of subjects.
* Manage classroom behaviour positively and efficiently.
* Ensure the well-being and safety of all pupils.
* Adapt to new settings quickly while upholding school values.
* Liaise with senior staff and follow school safeguarding protocols.
* Provide brief feedback to teaching teams on student progress.
Job Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching experience.
* Experience teaching across primary or secondary levels.
* Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility to work in various schools within the local area.
* Passionate about education, reliable, and committed to pupil development.
* Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
