Job description
As part of an ongoing drive to ensure learners receive outstanding GCSE and Functional Skills Maths provision, Solihull College and University Centre is seeking an hourly paid teacher to deliver maths at our Stratford-Upon-Avon Campus.
The successful candidate will join a specialist team focusing upon providing consistently excellent maths teaching and learning opportunities to learners of all ages.
We are looking for someone who will work alongside the Maths Team in:
* Providing innovative, outstanding, and engaging teaching, learning and assessment.
* Ensuring progress for all learners from their starting points, using high quality assessment and feedback
* Recognising and responding to the demands of delivering Maths to learners who may have been disengaged with education for a number of years
You will be joining a friendly and collaborative team in a college environment and culture that is caring, respectful and inspiring. You must hold a Level 3 qualification in Maths or higher and ideally possess a Level 5 teaching qualification (or higher) or be prepared to work towards a relevant qualification.
