An exciting opportunity has arisen for a TA (Inclusion Practitioner) position in our popular village school!!
1. Full-time (30hrs)
2. Temporary 1-year contract with an aim to make permanent in the future - funding/budget dependent
3. Lunchtime Playleader role combined
4. Experience in EYFS, KS1 &/or 2 desirable
5. Do you have a skill set that you could bring to our PPA cover? (Pay uplift for this!)
We require a TA to join our growing team. The role will comprise of in-class support, group intervention and a Playleader role at lunchtime. Duties may also require specific support for individual children who have high-needs funding.
There is also an opportunity for the candidate with the right skills and training to lead sessions for PPA - a passion in dance, drama, Forest School, PE or any other enrichment experience that you could bring to the school would be advantageous. This is paid at a higher rate.
In addition, you will be:
•A member of a team led by the SENCo
•Working within a Key Stage under the direction of the Class Teachers, SENCo and the KS Leader
• Leading class support and/or individual or small group work for the children to make good progress in their learning
•Undertaking a Playleader role daily, under the direction of the Pastoral Team - actively leading play, encouraging good interactions between children and ensuring children have a fun break from their learning!
•Required to supervise a class for short periods to cover a Class Teacher
•Required to work a 30-hour week

•Experience in planning, monitoring and assessment of provision would be an advantage

A TA qualification or equivalent and previous experience are preferable but not essential.
